Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Lonsdale Quay, I found the location to be unbeatable for exploring North Vancouver. The convenience of having a bustling market downstairs with an array of food options was a definite highlight, especially for families. The proximity to the Seabus and downtown bus services made it the ideal choice for those preferring a quieter setting away from the hustle of the city center. While the standard room was a bit cramped and the air conditioning was bothersome, upgrading to the executive room for a reasonable fee provided a quieter atmosphere and a pleasant view. The hotel itself could benefit from a remodel, especially in the bathrooms. However, the comfortable and cozy feel of the room was a welcome change from typical chain hotels.Lonsdale Quay offers a good value proposition for its location and amenities. If you prioritize convenience and accessibility over luxury, this hotel is a practical choice for your stay in North Vancouver.
